The LEA Professional RCAF-2 is a two-pack of female RCA to Amphenol Anytek balanced 3-pin adapter cables, designed to connect unbalanced RCA audio sources to the analog inputs of LEA Professional ConnectSeries amplifiers. At 9 inches in length with 22 AWG construction and nickel-plated RCA connectors, the RCAF-2 provides a reliable, purpose-built interface between consumer or prosumer RCA signal sources and the Amphenol Anytek input connectors used on all LEA ConnectSeries amplifiers. Assembled in the USA with globally sourced parts.
Product Description
LEA Professional ConnectSeries amplifiers use Amphenol Anytek 3-pin balanced connectors for their analog inputs. Standard XLR or RCA cables do not connect directly to these inputs without an adapter. The RCAF-2 solves this for unbalanced RCA signal sources, such as those from consumer audio equipment, media players, Blu-ray players, or audio interfaces with RCA outputs, by providing a pigtail adapter with a female RCA connector on one end and a male Amphenol Anytek 3-pin plug on the other.
Each pack includes two adapter cables — sufficient to connect a stereo pair of RCA outputs to two channels on a ConnectSeries amplifier. The cables are 9 inches long with ground shielding and are built to the 22 AWG specification. LEA recommends a maximum RCA cable length of 6 feet (2 meters) before the RCAF-2 adapter to minimize noise pickup on the unbalanced signal path. The RCAF-2 is compatible with all current LEA Professional ConnectSeries amplifier models including the CS84, CS164, CS354, CS704D, CS352D, CS164D, and others that share the same Amphenol Anytek input connector standard.
