Product Overview
The LEA Professional CS354 is a 4-channel, 1400W Class-D commercial-grade rack-mount amplifier with onboard DSP and IoT-enabled network management, connecting via 100 Mbps Ethernet or built-in Wi-Fi. Delivering 350W per channel, the CS354 supports both Low-Z (2, 4, and 8 ohm) and Hi-Z (70V or 100V) distributed audio operation independently per channel, making it effective for commercial AV installations that require multi-zone amplification without the added cost of Dante licensing. Part of LEA Professional's ConnectSeries, the CS354 is managed through the LEA Cloud platform using any standard web browser.
Product Description
The CS354 uses LEA's proprietary Smart Power Bridge Technology to provide bridged mono capability without permanently removing a channel from service. Each of the four channels independently selects between Low-Z (2, 4, or 8 ohm) and Hi-Z (70V or 100V) operation, so a single unit can simultaneously drive direct-impedance loudspeakers alongside distributed ceiling speaker circuits at 70V or 100V.
Signal processing is handled by an Analog Devices Sigma 96kHz DSP with a 32-bit core and onboard sample rate converters. Analog audio enters via balanced Amphenol Anytek connectors on all four channels. Network connectivity for control and monitoring uses either the 100 Mbps Ethernet port or the built-in Wi-Fi, which operates in both access-point mode and local network client mode. The LEA Cloud platform enables remote configuration, monitoring, and firmware updates from any internet-connected browser without requiring on-site access. Power comes from a universal SMPS rated 100–240 VAC, and cooling is front-to-rear variable-speed fan. The CS354 occupies 1U in a standard 19-inch equipment rack.

Frequently Asked Questions
Q: What is the difference between the CS354 and the CS354D?
The CS354 connects to networks via 100 Mbps Ethernet and built-in Wi-Fi, and accepts analog audio inputs only. The CS354D adds dual Dante ports (primary and secondary) for networked digital audio transport over a standard IP network, which is necessary for Dante-based AV system architectures. If your installation uses analog signal sources and does not require Dante, the CS354 provides the same power output and DSP at a lower cost.
Q: Can the CS354 drive both 70V distributed speakers and direct-impedance loudspeakers at the same time?
Yes. Each of the four channels independently selects between Hi-Z (70V or 100V) and Low-Z (2, 4, or 8 ohm) operation. A single CS354 can therefore run a 70V ceiling speaker zone on channels 1 and 2 while simultaneously driving 8 ohm loudspeakers on channels 3 and 4, all from one rack unit.
Q: Does the CS354 require an AV control system for remote management?
No. Remote management is handled through the LEA Cloud platform, which is browser-based and requires no proprietary control hardware. The CS354 connects to the LEA Cloud over any internet connection via its Ethernet port or Wi-Fi. Local network control is also available without cloud access if required by the installation environment.
Q: What analog input connectors does the CS354 use?
The CS354 uses Amphenol Anytek balanced 3-pin connectors for all four analog inputs. To connect standard balanced XLR sources, use the LEA Professional XLRF adapter. For unbalanced RCA sources, use the RCAF-2 two-pack adapter, both available separately.
Q: How does the CS354 handle cooling in rack environments?
The CS354 uses front-to-rear variable-speed fan cooling, drawing air in from the front of the rack and exhausting it from the rear. Fan speed is automatically adjusted by the amplifier based on thermal load. Ensure the rack has adequate rear ventilation and at least 1U of clearance above or below the unit for proper airflow.
