The HS12T uses a 12-inch polypropylene cone woofer with a Santoprene rubber surround and a Laminar Flow Port design, delivering a 22Hz–100Hz (±3dB) frequency response and 91dB sensitivity (2.83V/1m) with 50W minimum and 375W maximum RMS power handling. It shares the same 70V/100V transformer tap options as the LS12T (300W, 150W, 75W, plus a 38W 70V tap) through a Sonance Laminated Core Transformer with adjustable tap, and its low-density polyethylene enclosure is IP66 rated, UV-resistant, and MIL-STD-810 humidity conformant. Where the LS12T uses a taller cylindrical housing, the HS12T's dimensions are a compact 16.14-inch cube, which can simplify installation in tighter planting beds or narrower trenches. It mounts using 1/2-inch NPS satellite speaker threads and a pivoting knuckle for angle adjustment, and it is part of the Sonance Landscape Series carried by Creation Networks.
