The Lab Gruppen Rackmount Kit for LUCIA amplifiers (LUCIA-RACKKIT) is a 19" rack adapter that accommodates one or two LUCIA series compact installation amplifiers in a standard 1RU rack bay. All LUCIA amplifier models are compatible. It provides a straightforward path for integrators who need to rack-mount LUCIA amplifiers in an equipment rack rather than deploying them in wall-mount or concealed locations. A cover plate is included for single-amplifier configurations to close the unused half of the rack slot.
Product Description
The LUCIA-RACKKIT converts one or two Lab Gruppen LUCIA half-rack amplifiers into a standard 19" rack-mountable assembly occupying 1RU. LUCIA amplifiers are natively half-rack units designed for localized installation near speaker loads — behind displays, in millwork, or above ceilings. When a central equipment rack is part of the system design, the LUCIA-RACKKIT provides the hardware to integrate LUCIA units into that rack without improvised mounting. The kit accepts any combination of LUCIA models in its two half-rack bays, allowing a single rack slot to hold two amplifiers of different types — for example, a LUCIA 240/2 and a LUCIA 240/1-70 side by side. When only one amplifier is installed, the included cover plate fills the empty half-rack bay with a matching gray-painted steel panel, maintaining a finished rack appearance. The finish is gray-painted steel, consistent with the LUCIA amplifier chassis color. All necessary rack hardware is included. The LUCIA-RACKKIT is a standard accessory for commercial AV installations where LUCIA amplifiers are specified but the system design calls for rack-based equipment organization.
