Product Overview
The Kramer WP-571/US(B) is a US-format black wall plate HDMI transmitter that extends HDMI signals over DigiKat (DGKat) twisted pair cabling for commercial AV installations. Designed as the source-end input station in a DGKat signal extension system, it accepts an HDMI source at the wall and transmits the signal over Cat cable to a compatible Kramer DGKat receiver at the display. The black finish suits modern commercial interiors and AV furniture, and the US 1-gang form factor fits standard electrical boxes.
Product Description
The WP-571/US(B) is the transmitter counterpart to Kramer DGKat wall plate receivers, enabling HDMI signal distribution over existing or new Cat 5e/6 cabling infrastructure without pulling new HDMI cables. The DigiKat technology provides reliable signal extension at distances that standard HDMI cables cannot achieve, making it a practical solution for permanent conference room and classroom AV installations. Power over Cable (PoC) allows the transmitter to be powered from the receiver end, removing the need for a local power adapter at the presenter’s wall plate. The HDCP 2.2 support ensures compatibility with protected content from current HDMI sources. Compatible with Kramer WP-572 receivers and DGKat matrix switcher outputs.
