Product Overview
The Kramer TP-873XR is a long-reach DGKat 2.0 transmitter for 4K@60Hz (4:4:4) HDR HDMI with HDCP 2.2, bidirectional RS-232, IR, and two-way Power over Cable (PoC) — extending 4K@60Hz (4:4:4) up to 50m over Kramer shielded Cat cable. DGKat 2.0 uses low-level visually lossless compression to achieve 4K@60Hz (4:4:4) distances that standard HDBaseT cannot, while remaining backwards compatible with standard HDBaseT receivers at lower resolutions. AV integrators specify the TP-873XR where 4K@60Hz (4:4:4) — rather than 4:2:0 — must be delivered to the display over Cat cable, and bi-directional PoC simplifies powering by allowing either the transmitter or receiver to supply power to the other unit.
