The Kramer TP-580CT is a long-reach HDBaseT transmitter for 4K@60Hz (4:2:0) USB-C (DisplayPort Alt Mode) video signals, RS-232, and IR, allowing USB-C laptops and devices to connect to an HDBaseT infrastructure without a separate dongle or adapter at the presenter position. AV integrators use the TP-580CT in BYOD conference rooms and presentation spaces where USB-C is the primary laptop connection standard, providing both the HDBaseT signal extension and up to 60W of USB Power Delivery (PD 2.0) charging back to the connected laptop over the same USB-C cable. It is compatible with any HDBaseT-certified receiver including the Kramer TP-580R.
