The Kramer RC-208 is a compact 8-button I/O control keypad for Kramer Control AV room automation, fitting standard US, European, and UK 1-gang wall junction boxes for seamless integration alongside electrical switches and outlet plates in conference rooms, boardrooms, classrooms, and auditoriums. AV integrators program the RC-208 using Kramer K-Config software to control complex AV, lighting, shade, and room device scenarios via its 8 RGB backlit buttons. It connects over Ethernet to Kramer Control gateways and supports KNET daisy-chaining to auxiliary keypads for multi-keypad room control deployments. It can also operate as a standalone room controller using its built-in I/O interfaces when a full Kramer Control gateway is not required.

The RC-308 adds PoE (Power over Ethernet) — it is powered by a single LAN cable with no local power supply needed. The RC-208 requires a local power supply or power from its connected KNET system. Choose RC-308 for single-cable PoE installation; RC-208 when local power is available or when connecting to a KNET-powered system.
Can the RC-208 control non-Kramer devices?
Yes. Through Kramer Control programming with K-Config, the RC-208 can trigger RS-232, IR, Ethernet, and other commands to third-party AV equipment, lighting systems, and room devices.
