Product Overview
The Kramer PT572+ is an HDMI over twisted pair receiver that extends HDMI signals over PoC Long-Reach DGKat cabling, designed as the display-end component in a DGKat signal extension system. It accepts a DGKat signal from a compatible Kramer transmitter and outputs HDMI at the display location, with Power over Cable (PoC) provided from the transmitter so no local power supply is required at the receiver. Suited for conference rooms, classrooms, and commercial AV installations using Kramer DGKat infrastructure.
Product Description
The PT572+ is the receive-end unit in a PoC Long-Reach DGKat HDMI extension system. Paired with a compatible Kramer DGKat transmitter, it provides an HDMI output at the display end of a Cat cable run, supporting the full signal chain including HDCP compliance for protected content. PoC from the transmitter powers the receiver over the same cable, simplifying installation at the display location. The compact receiver form factor suits mounting behind a display, on a wall, or in a small AV enclosure near the screen.
