Two HDMI sources connect to the VS-21DT. When a source becomes active, the switcher selects it according to the chosen scheme, either input priority or last connected, and outputs it on the HDBaseT 1.0 port to a compatible HDBaseT receiver at the display. This combines a switcher and transmitter in one device, which reduces equipment at the table.
The VS-21DT handles up to 4K@60Hz 4:2:0 at 8.91Gbps and is HDCP 2.2 compliant; Kramer notes it does not convert HDCP 2.2 content to HDCP 1.4. Kramer equalization and re-klocking technology rebuilds the digital signal, and 3D pass-through is supported. It runs on 5V DC.
