The Kramer VS-88H2 is an 8x8 4K60 HDMI matrix switcher with eight HDMI inputs independently routable to eight HDMI outputs at 4K@60Hz 4:4:4 and 18Gbps. An integrated 16x16 audio matrix allows independent audio breakaway, ARC extraction, insertion and routing between any HDMI ports. It is the core routing matrix for multi-display AV systems in boardrooms, training centers and venues.
How does the Kramer VS-88H2 work?
Any of the eight HDMI sources can be sent to any combination of the eight outputs, with HDCP 2.2 compliance and Kramer I-EDIDPro intelligent EDID processing for plug-and-play compatibility. Flexible and safe matrix routing keeps protected content on compliant displays, and auto switcher modes give ease of use in rooms that rely on automatic source selection.
The built-in audio matrix routes forward and ARC audio signals independently of video, so audio from one source can accompany video from another, or ARC audio from a display can be sent back to an audio system. The VS-88H2 is managed through a secured web UI, RS-232, Ethernet and front-panel buttons, with a mini USB port and a 5V/2A USB port. The 19-inch aluminum enclosure uses fan ventilation and universal 100-240V AC power.
