The JBL P3251MX B15 Compact Subwoofer delivers professional-grade low-frequency performance in a compact and versatile design, making it ideal for touring acts, production companies, rental houses, theaters, and houses of worship. Engineered as part of JBL’s VTX Series, the B15 extends the low-end of full-range VTX systems and pairs seamlessly with the VTX A6 Subcompact Line Array Element, allowing for flown or ground-stacked arrays that deliver consistent, high-impact sound at any scale.
At the heart of the B15 is the patented Differential Drive® 15-inch woofer, featuring dual voice coils, dual gap neodymium magnets, and a carbon-fiber-based cone. This advanced design provides long excursion, superior heat dissipation, and minimal power compression, delivering clean, distortion-free bass that rivals larger subwoofers. Proprietary SlipStream™ double-flared ports further enhance low-frequency extension and reduce port noise for smooth, deep bass.
Designed for flexibility, the B15 supports omnidirectional or cardioid array configurations, with front and rear NL4 speakON® connectors simplifying cable management. The captive, spring-loaded quick-release rigging system enables fast, quiet deployment, and the unit is fully compatible with VTX A6 accessories, including the A6 Base Plate for stacked configurations. Built from exterior-grade birch plywood with a black DuraFlex™ finish, the B15 is rugged, corrosion-resistant, and IP55-rated, ensuring durability in demanding touring and installation environments.
