JBL Professional VTX A8 BP – Base Plate for JBL VTX A8 Arrays
The JBL VTX A8 BP Base Plate is a versatile ground-stacking solution designed to connect VTX A8 line array enclosures to subwoofers or other support structures. Engineered with strength and flexibility, the base plate enables reliable deployment of VTX A8 systems in ground-stacked configurations, making it an essential accessory for portable and fixed sound reinforcement applications.
Using the universal M20 threaded attachment, the VTX A8 BP connects securely to any compatible subwoofer equipped with an M20 pole mount, including the VTX B18 and B28. The plate attaches directly to the bottom of the A8 array and features an adjustable rear angle selection bar, allowing for precise aiming from -15° down tilt to +5° up tilt.
When not paired with subwoofers, the VTX A8 BP can also be mounted on stages, scaffolding, or carts using its M10 through holes for permanent installation. Two 50 mm (2 in) through-holes on each side make it easy to secure the setup with ratchet straps, ensuring stability in demanding environments.
Capable of supporting up to eight VTX A8 enclosures, this lightweight yet rugged adapter frame delivers professional flexibility while maintaining quick and efficient setup. For detailed load conditions and configurations, JBL’s LAC-3 prediction software is recommended.
