The JBL VTX A8 AF Array Frame is a professional-grade, lightweight solution for suspending VTX A8 and VTX B18 enclosures with precision and flexibility. Engineered for a variety of rigging scenarios, the A8 AF accommodates single-point, two-point front-to-back, and side-by-side suspension methods, supporting up to 24 VTX A8 enclosures. Its design ensures secure and accurate deployment while maintaining quick setup and transport efficiency.
The frame includes an integral storage position for the VTX A8 AF EB extension bar, which facilitates extended front or rear suspension to achieve precise up-tilt or down-tilt aiming. Three attachment points allow fine control of shackle placement for single-point applications, and additional extension bars can be purchased for side-by-side suspension configurations.
For professionals requiring precise array alignment, the A8 AF supports third-party laser inclinometers via the included laser bracket, enabling accurate measurement of tilt angles during installation. Each array frame comes with three 5/8-inch shackles and one extension bar, ensuring the system is ready for immediate use. The lightweight yet robust construction of the A8 AF ensures both reliability and ease of handling for touring, rental, and fixed installations.
The VTX A8 AF, when used in conjunction with JBL’s LAC-III software, allows for detailed calculation of load conditions, tilt angles, and array geometry, providing maximum flexibility and safety in complex sound reinforcement setups.
