JBL VTX A12 SB – Suspension Bar for Line Arrays
The JBL VTX A12 SB is a versatile, lightweight suspension bar designed for use with the VTX A12 line array system. Built for maximum flexibility, the A12 SB can function as both a pull-back accessory and a compact array frame, giving sound engineers expanded control over array tilt and deployment options.
When used in pull-back applications, the suspension bar attaches to the bottom cabinet of an array and connects to a rear suspension point, enabling additional down-tilt angles beyond what the VTX A12 AF frame provides. Alternatively, the A12 SB can be mounted to the top cabinet, serving as a compact array frame with down-tilt determined by cabinet count and array geometry. For dual-point applications, one suspension bar can be used at the top and another at the bottom of the array to increase aiming flexibility.
Engineered to handle up to 18 VTX A12 enclosures, the A12 SB delivers reliable performance in both touring and fixed-install scenarios. Compatible with 5/8-inch shackles, the accessory ensures secure rigging while remaining lightweight for ease of handling. For precise configurations, JBL’s Line Array Calculator (LAC) software can be used to calculate tilt angles and load conditions.
