Complementing this is JBL’s redesigned Radiation Boundary Integrator® (RBI), which minimizes horn edge diffraction while enhancing low-frequency sensitivity, resulting in smoother coverage and reduced distortion across the frequency spectrum.

The low-frequency section features JBL’s renowned Differential Drive® woofers, utilizing a dual magnet and dual voice-coil design for extended linear excursion and industry-defining performance. With a nominal 90-degree horizontal coverage extending down to 250 Hz and a maximum SPL of 146 dB, the VTX A12 provides consistent, powerful sound over wide areas.
