The Control 447C/T itself is a two-way coaxial ceiling speaker featuring a 6.5-inch woofer and a 1-inch soft-dome tweeter, integrated within an enclosure optimized for most ceiling plenum spaces. JBL’s proprietary conical Radiation Boundary Integrator® (RBI™) technology ensures constant directivity coverage, delivering exceptionally smooth, clear, and consistent sound across a wide listening area. When paired with the MTC-447NC bracket, the installation process becomes more efficient and repeatable, with reliable dogear mounting points that accommodate a range of ceiling thicknesses.
Engineered for professional installers, the MTC-447NC bracket simplifies placement and ensures the Control 447C/T is correctly aligned and supported. Terminal covers provide flexible top or side cable entry, and the included full-face magnetic grille—paintable in white or customized with optional black and square accessory grilles—offers seamless integration with modern architectural designs.
