JBL MTC-426MR Mud Ring Bracket – Pack of 6
The JBL MTC-426MR Mud Ring Bracket is a pre-installation accessory designed for use with JBL Control 424LP, 426C/T, 426LP, and 426C/T-LS ceiling speakers. While most Control 400 Series installations do not require additional brackets, this optional 6-pack facilitates sheetrock (gypsum board) installations, providing precise placement and seamless integration.
The mud-ring bracket features a circular offset, forming an edge guide for plastering and drywall finishing. It secures wiring in place behind the sheetrock, acts as a cutout template for multiple installations, and reserves the speaker location before the sheetrock is installed. Constructed with wings for attachment to the building structure, it ensures a clean, professional finish.
