The JBL Intellivox DS380 HD is a high-performance, self-powered column loudspeaker array engineered for professional audio applications where clarity, precision, and consistent coverage are paramount. The DS380 HD features twenty custom-designed 4" full-range loudspeakers powered by a sixteen-channel Class-D amplifier, supported by a sophisticated switched-mode power supply. The loudspeakers are arranged using JBL’s patented algorithm to optimize vertical and horizontal coverage, minimize acoustic reflections, and maintain uniform sound pressure levels across the listening area. Advanced DDS (Digital Directivity Synthesis) technology allows precise vertical beam shaping, focusing sound exactly where it is needed while maintaining wide horizontal dispersion for balanced coverage.

Control and monitoring are facilitated through JBL’s WinControl software, which provides intuitive management of beam steering parameters, audio processing, preset recall, and comprehensive surveillance features, including Voice Alarm compliance. Built-in DSP with 32-bit floating-point processing, dual line inputs, volume control, and up to 20 seconds of delay offer flexibility for a variety of installation scenarios.
