The JBL Intellivox DSX430 is a high-performance, self-powered column loudspeaker designed to deliver exceptional speech intelligibility and audio clarity in demanding environments. As the second tallest model in the DSX series, it provides extended coverage of up to 50 meters while maintaining a consistent sound pressure level. Its array length not only allows for long-throw audio projection but also offers enhanced control over lower frequencies, making it ideal for highly reverberant spaces such as atriums, theatres, lecture halls, large conference facilities, and places of worship.

The DSX430 incorporates thirteen custom-designed 4” loudspeakers and eight 1” dome tweeters, all powered by a sixteen-channel Class-D amplifier with a sophisticated switched-mode power supply, ensuring reliable performance over many years. The dome tweeters enhance horizontal coverage at high frequencies and improve the overall audio quality for both speech and music. Digitally steerable beam shaping (DDS technology) enables precise vertical directivity control, allowing sound to be aimed toward listeners while minimizing unwanted reflections.

This model features dual line inputs, volume control, delay capability of up to 20 seconds, and full DSP integration, providing advanced control over the beam steering, EQ, and audio processing. The amplifier is positioned at the top of the column, offering flexible installation options and unobtrusive integration into sensitive architectural environments. For full-range applications, the DSX430 can be paired with JBL subwoofers to extend low-frequency performance, making it a versatile and reliable solution for professional audio installations.
