Equipped with twelve custom-designed 4" loudspeakers and driven by an 8-channel Class-D amplifier with a switched-mode power supply, the DS180 ensures long-term reliable performance. Its digitally controlled beam shaping delivers precise vertical dispersion, minimizing reflections and enhancing clarity even in reverberant spaces.
An integrated DSP platform provides advanced features including parametric EQ, delay, dual line inputs, volume control, and preset storage. The DS180 also incorporates surveillance functions to meet stringent voice alarm (life safety) requirements. Control is handled via JBL’s intuitive WinControl software, enabling easy setup of beam steering, processing, and monitoring.
