The JBL Control 447LP is a high-quality 6.5-inch coaxial ceiling speaker from JBL’s flagship Control 400 Premium Coverage Series, designed for installations where ceiling plenum space is limited. Its low-profile 142 mm (5.6 in) enclosure allows for installation in tight spaces while delivering full, professional-grade sound.
Featuring JBL’s proprietary conical Radiation Boundary Integrator® (RBI™) technology, the Control 447LP achieves constant directivity coverage for smooth, clear audio that remains consistent across a wide listening area. The two-way design includes a 6.5-inch woofer and a 1-inch soft-dome tweeter, providing balanced low and high-frequency response suitable for commercial, hospitality, and institutional audio environments.
Installation is efficient and reliable, with robust dogears accommodating a range of ceiling thicknesses and terminal covers that allow both top and side cable entry. The full-face magnetic grille is paintable to match interior décor, and optional black, square, or weather grilles are available for added customization. The 447LP supports both low-impedance and 70V/100V distributed audio systems, providing versatile integration options.
