The JBL Control 442C/T is a compact 2.5-inch ceiling loudspeaker from the flagship Control 400 Premium Coverage Series, engineered for environments that require consistent, high-quality sound in a small form factor. Its integrated enclosure allows easy installation in most ceiling plenum spaces, making it ideal for offices, retail, and hospitality applications.
Featuring a 160° conical coverage pattern, the Control 442C/T ensures even audio distribution across listening areas, while its 2.5-inch full-range driver with paper cone and rubber surround delivers clear, natural sound. The speaker supports both low-impedance (16Ω) operation and 70V/100V distributed audio systems, with multi-tap transformer options for versatile deployment.
Installation is simplified with robust, adaptable dogears, top and side cable entry options, and a full-face paintable magnetic grille. Optional black and white grilles, new construction brackets, and mud-ring construction brackets provide further flexibility for design integration and pre-installation setups.
