The JBL Control 414CT Micro Plus is a compact, high-output two-way ceiling loudspeaker, designed as part of the Control 400 Standard Coverage Series. Featuring a 4-inch woofer and low-profile enclosure, it is ideal for installations where ceiling plenum space is limited, making it perfect for offices, retail spaces, classrooms, and hospitality applications. The speaker integrates seamlessly into modern interiors, with a paintable full-face magnetic grille for a clean and professional look. Optional black round and white square accessory grilles provide additional aesthetic flexibility.

Engineered for both performance and installation efficiency, the Control 414CT Micro Plus incorporates multiple features to simplify setup and enhance safety. Its terminal cover supports top or side cable entry, accommodating various wiring configurations. The captive dogear mounting design ensures stability and versatility across a wide range of ceiling thicknesses, while also providing repeatable and secure installations.

Acoustically, the speaker delivers wide coverage with a 160° conical pattern, a frequency response range of 69 Hz to 25 kHz, and up to 100 W peak power handling. With an 8-ohm direct input and transformer taps for 70 V or 100 V systems, the Control 414CT Micro Plus provides flexible deployment in both low-impedance and distributed audio environments. The 4-inch woofer and 0.5-inch dome tweeter work together to produce clear, high-fidelity audio suitable for music, paging, or background sound.

This speaker is also built for safety and durability, meeting UL2043, NFPA 90A & 70, and CSA standards, and is rated IP32 for environmental protection. Optional accessories, including weatherized grilles, new construction brackets, mud-ring brackets, and tile rails, allow for customized installations to suit specific project needs.
