The JBL AM7215/64 is a high-performance, lightweight 2-way full-range loudspeaker system engineered for demanding professional audio applications. Built around JBL’s innovative Differential Drive® 2265H 15-inch low-frequency driver with dual voice coils and dual magnetic gaps, combined with the 2432H high-frequency compression driver, this system delivers powerful, clear, and reliable performance.
The defining feature of the AM7215/64 is its large-format Progressive Transition™ (PT) waveguide, offering precise 60° x 40° coverage. This waveguide is rotatable, allowing for either vertical or horizontal mounting to fit a wide variety of system designs. The combination of high-slope passive networks and well-controlled off-axis response enhances arrayability while maintaining consistent sound quality across coverage areas.
Constructed with a trapezoidal 11-ply birch plywood enclosure finished in JBL’s rugged DuraFlex™, the AM7215/64 is both durable and acoustically optimized. A 14-gauge powder-coated steel grille lined with acoustically transparent foam ensures professional appearance and driver protection. With bi-amp or passive operation available at the flick of a switch, this speaker is highly versatile for installations.
Ideal for venues such as performing arts facilities, theaters, auditoriums, houses of worship, clubs, sports arenas, and themed entertainment spaces, the AM7215/64 is designed to deliver accurate, high-output sound in any environment.
