The JBL AM7215/26 is a high-power, lightweight 2-way full-range loudspeaker designed to deliver exceptional performance in both indoor and outdoor sound reinforcement applications. Built around JBL’s renowned Differential Drive® technology, it features the 2265H 15-inch low-frequency driver with dual voice coils and dual magnetic gaps, paired with the 2432H 1.5-inch exit compression driver with a 3-inch voice coil for outstanding clarity and headroom.
At the heart of its design is the PT-H126HF Progressive Transition™ waveguide, which provides a wide 120° x 60° coverage pattern, ensuring even sound distribution across larger listening areas. The rotatable waveguide allows for vertical or horizontal placement, making the AM7215/26 highly versatile for a variety of venues. Its bi-amp/passive switchable crossover provides installation flexibility, while optimized FIR tuning enhances frequency response, phase consistency, and overall sound quality.
Engineered for durability, the AM7215/26 enclosure is constructed from 11-ply Finnish birch plywood with a rugged DuraFlex™ finish. The system is weather-resistant to Mil-Std 810 and IP56 standards, making it ideal for use in extreme climates such as tropical, coastal, or high-humidity environments. A powder-coated 14-gauge steel grille with acoustically transparent foam further protects the drivers without compromising sound performance.
