The JBL AM7212/00 is a professional-grade, full-range 2-way loudspeaker engineered for venues requiring wide, even sound coverage. Featuring JBL’s 2262H Differential Drive® 12-inch low-frequency driver with a dual 3-inch voice coil and dual magnetic gap, it delivers powerful, distortion-free bass response. High frequencies are reproduced by the JBL 2432H compression driver, equipped with a 3-inch voice coil and 1.5-inch exit, providing clear and detailed highs.

The large-format Progressive Transition™ waveguide ensures accurate sound dispersion with minimal off-axis degradation. With its 100° x 100° coverage, the AM7212/00 excels in large venues where broad, uniform sound is required, including theaters, houses of worship, auditoriums, and multipurpose halls. The horn is rotatable, allowing flexible installation in either vertical or horizontal orientation. High-slope passive crossovers reduce band overlap, and the bi-amp/passive switchable mode with FIR tuning presets optimizes frequency response, phase alignment, and coverage consistency.

Constructed from durable 11-ply Finnish birch plywood with JBL’s DuraFlex™ finish, the trapezoidal enclosure is built to withstand demanding installations. Fifteen M10 suspension points provide safe and versatile rigging options, and the acoustically transparent steel grille protects the drivers without compromising sound quality. Rated for 600W continuous power (2400W peak) in passive mode, with a maximum SPL of 137 dB in bi-amp mode, the AM7212/00 delivers both power and precision. It meets MIL-STD-810 and IP-x3 environmental standards, making it ideal for professional audio applications.
