The JBL AM5215/66 is a medium-power, full-range 2-way loudspeaker designed for professional installations where clarity, coverage, and reliability are critical. Perfect for performing arts venues, theaters, auditoriums, houses of worship, nightclubs, and themed entertainment, this versatile speaker delivers consistent, high-quality sound in both vertical and horizontal orientations.
Featuring JBL’s Differential Drive technology, the AM5215/66 combines the 265H-1 15" dual voice coil low-frequency driver with the 2408H-1 1.5" high-frequency compression driver. The large-format Progressive Transition (PT) waveguide provides precise 60° x 60° coverage, ensuring consistent sound projection and minimal off-axis distortion. High-slope passive networks reduce frequency overlap, while the rotatable waveguide allows for flexible placement in a variety of acoustic environments.
Bi-amp/passive switchable operation makes this speaker highly adaptable to multiple sound system configurations. The rugged enclosure is constructed from 11-ply birch plywood with a DuraFlex finish, and the steel grille with acoustically transparent foam protects the drivers while maintaining optimal sound quality. With 15 M10 suspension points, the AM5215/66 is ideal for permanent installation or temporary deployment.
