The JBL AM5212/66 is a medium-power, 2-way full-range loudspeaker designed for professional audio installations, including performing arts venues, theaters, auditoriums, houses of worship, live music clubs, and themed entertainment facilities.
It features a 12" Differential Drive low-frequency driver and a 1.5" high-frequency compression driver for clear, dynamic sound across a wide frequency spectrum. The large-format PT Progressive Transition waveguide provides precise 60° x 60° coverage and rotates for flexible vertical or horizontal placement. Bi-amp/passive switchable operation, FIR tuning for optimized frequency and phase response, and high-slope passive networks ensure consistent coverage and minimal distortion. The trapezoidal enclosure, built from 11-ply birch plywood, delivers durability and professional aesthetics.
