The JBL AC28/95 is a high-output, compact dual 8-inch 2-way loudspeaker designed for professional audio applications where clarity, power, and flexibility are critical. As part of the AE Compact family, the AC28/95 combines JBL’s signature sonic fidelity with a flexible, rotatable horn design, making it ideal for performing arts venues, theaters, auditoriums, houses of worship, live clubs, sports facilities, and themed entertainment spaces.
Featuring two 205 mm (8 in) low-frequency transducers paired with a 1” exit compression driver and JBL’s Progressive Transition™ (PT™) Rotatable Waveguide, this speaker delivers precise, controlled coverage with options for 90° x 50° or 120° x 60° patterns. The FIR Tuning Set optimizes frequency and phase response, ensuring consistent sound quality across the listening area. With a frequency range of 53 Hz to 20 kHz and a maximum SPL of 120 dB, the AC28/95 provides both powerful low-end impact and crystal-clear high frequencies.
Constructed from high-quality 12 mm and 15 mm exterior-grade multi-ply hardwood plywood, the AC28/95 is rugged and ready for demanding environments. Dual Neutrik NL4 connectors, plus a screw terminal, allow flexible wiring options. Suspension attachment points and compatibility with optional U-brackets, OmniMount® type brackets, or stand mounts provide versatile installation options. Whether used in a live club, auditorium, or themed venue, the AC28/95 ensures consistent, high-fidelity sound for performers, designers, and audiences alike.
