The JBL CSS8018 is a high-output 8-inch (200 mm) commercial-series in-ceiling speaker that provides full, clear audio from an unobtrusive design. A 10W multi-tap transformer supports 25V, 70V, and 100V distributed lines and delivers more output than the standard CSS8008, suiting larger or louder commercial spaces. With a very high 97 dB sensitivity, this distributed-audio ceiling speaker makes efficient use of amplifier power. It fits the CSS-BB8 backcan (sold separately) for clean in-ceiling installation.
Product Description
The CSS8018 is the high-output member of JBL's commercial ceiling-speaker line, pairing an 8-inch driver with a very high 97 dB sensitivity for strong, intelligible output in retail, hospitality, and larger commercial interiors. Its onboard 10W multi-tap transformer offers selectable taps for 25V, 70V, and 100V distributed speaker lines, providing extra headroom over 5W models for spaces that need higher sound levels or wider speaker spacing.
