Product Overview
The JBL CSS8008 is a professional 8-inch (200 mm) commercial-series in-ceiling speaker that provides full, clear audio from an unobtrusive design. A 120-degree conical coverage pattern delivers excellent clarity and speech intelligibility for distributed background music and paging. A 5W multi-tap transformer supports 25V, 70V, and 100V distributed lines, so this commercial ceiling speaker connects to virtually any pro sound system. It fits the CSS-BB8 backcan (sold separately) for clean in-ceiling installation.
Product Description
The CSS8008 uses an 8-inch driver with a high 96 dB sensitivity to deliver efficient, intelligible output across a 120-degree conical pattern. The wider low-frequency cone provides fuller sound than smaller commercial ceiling speakers, suiting retail, hospitality, and office environments that need clear music and paging. Its onboard 5W multi-tap transformer offers selectable taps for 25V, 70V, and 100V distributed speaker lines for straightforward system integration.
