Product Overview
The JBL CSS8004 is a professional 4-inch (100 mm) commercial-series in-ceiling speaker that provides full, clear audio from an unobtrusive design. A very wide 175-degree coverage pattern lets this distributed-audio ceiling speaker cover a large area with fewer units. A 5W multi-tap transformer supports 25V, 70V, and 100V distributed lines, so it connects to virtually any commercial sound system. It fits the CSS-BB4 backcan (sold separately) for clean in-ceiling installation.
Product Description
The CSS8004 is built for background music and paging in retail, hospitality, and office ceilings. Its 4-inch driver achieves a high 90 dB sensitivity and an extremely wide 175-degree coverage pattern, allowing broad, even fill from a small ceiling footprint. The onboard 5W multi-tap transformer offers selectable taps for 25V, 70V, and 100V distributed speaker lines, making the speaker straightforward to integrate into commercial paging and music systems.
