Product Overview
The JBL CSS-BB4x6 is a six-pack of 4-inch backcans (sold individually) designed to fit the CSS8004 commercial ceiling speaker for enclosed in-ceiling installations. A backcan encloses the rear of the speaker to contain sound, protect the driver, and help meet plenum and fire-code requirements in commercial ceilings. Each backcan includes four screws for attaching to CSS-TR4/8 tile rails. This bulk pack equips multiple drops in a single distributed-audio install.

The CSS-BB4x6 provides the matching rear enclosures for CSS8004 ceiling speakers in larger installations. Mounting a backcan behind each speaker isolates the rear radiation, improves consistency between drops, and supports compliance with local building and plenum requirements. The package ships with six backcans, each supplied with four screws for secure attachment to CSS-TR4/8 tile rails. Although sold in a six-pack, the units are counted individually for inventory.
