The Control 52 produces high-fidelity sound from a low-distortion 60 mm (2.5 in) driver featuring a secondary bucking magnet for high efficiency, a rubber half-roll surround for enhanced bass, a 19 mm (0.75 in) copper-clad aluminum-wire voice coil on a vented Nomex former for fidelity and reliability, and a copper-capped pole piece for consistent impedance and extended high-frequency response. For full-range, wide-bandwidth performance, either two or four Control 52 satellites can be driven from a Control 50S/T pendant subwoofer, a Control 60PS/T pendant subwoofer, or a Control 40CS/T in-ceiling subwoofer; the system crossover resides in the subwoofer, and the system can be driven low-impedance or from a 70V/100V distributed line. The included wall bracket angles each speaker up to 45 degrees off-axis, and the 52 can be intermixed with Control 42C in-ceiling and Control 62P pendant satellites.
