Product Description
The Control 42C is the satellite half of a high-fidelity subwoofer-satellite system. Combined with the Control 40CS/T subwoofer, it produces natural, full-bandwidth sound for applications that demand strong sonic performance from a minimal ceiling footprint. Each passive 42C requires 30W of program power to drive its single 2.5-inch (64 mm) mid-high driver, yielding a frequency response of 180 Hz to 17 kHz and a maximum SPL of 100 dB peak. The speaker ships complete with press-in grilles, C-ring support backing plates, knockout strain reliefs, cutout templates, and paint shields for fast, clean installation in finished ceilings.
