The JBL Control 23-1L is an ultra-compact two-way 3-inch indoor/outdoor speaker, sold as a pair, for background and foreground music plus paging in commercial spaces. This 8-ohm version offers a weather-resistant enclosure, wide 100-degree coverage, and a contemporary look that fits retail stores, restaurants, health clubs, and hospitality venues. Built-in InvisiBall mounting hardware allows versatile, aimable placement.
Product Description
The Control 23-1L uses a 76 mm (3 in) woven-fiberglass-cone woofer and a 13 mm (1/2 in) PEI diaphragm tweeter with fluid cooling, providing a broad 70 Hz to 20 kHz frequency response and wide 100-degree by 100-degree coverage. Power handling is 50 watts (100 watts program). As an 8-ohm model, it is intended for low-impedance amplifier channels rather than 70V/100V distributed lines. The weather-resistant enclosure and transducers support indoor or sheltered outdoor use, and built-in InvisiBall mounting hardware (with an available U-bracket) supports flexible aiming.
