The JBL Control 23-1 (white) is an ultra-compact two-way 3-inch indoor/outdoor speaker, sold individually, for background and foreground music plus paging in commercial spaces. With weather-protected circuitry, wide coverage, and combined 70V/100V or 8-ohm operation, this compact indoor/outdoor speaker fits retail stores, health clubs, theme parks, cafes, and hospitality venues. JBL's InvisiBall mounting hardware installs through a hidden access point behind the logo badge for a clean appearance.
Product Description
The Control 23-1 uses a 76 mm (3 in) woven-fiberglass-cone woofer and a 13 mm (1/2 in) PEI diaphragm tweeter with fluid cooling, providing a broad 70 Hz to 20 kHz frequency response and wide 100-degree by 100-degree coverage. Power handling is 50 watts (100 watts program) in the direct 8-ohm setting, plus a built-in 15-watt 70V/100V multi-tap transformer for distributed systems. The weather-resistant white enclosure and transducers support indoor or sheltered outdoor use, and the proprietary InvisiBall mounting hardware allows versatile, concealed installation.
