The JBL Control 23-1 is an ultra-compact two-way 3-inch indoor/outdoor speaker, supplied as a set of two, for background and foreground music plus paging in commercial spaces. With a weather-resistant enclosure, wide 100-degree coverage, and combined 70V/100V or 8-ohm operation, this compact indoor/outdoor speaker fits retail stores, restaurants, health clubs, and hospitality venues. Built-in InvisiBall mounting hardware allows versatile, aimable placement with a clean, contemporary look.
Product Description
The Control 23-1 uses a 76 mm (3 in) woven-fiberglass-cone woofer and a 13 mm (1/2 in) PEI diaphragm tweeter with fluid cooling, providing a broad 70 Hz to 20 kHz frequency response and wide 100-degree by 100-degree coverage. Power handling is 50 watts (100 watts program) in the direct 8-ohm setting, plus a built-in 15-watt 70V/100V multi-tap transformer for distributed systems. The weather-resistant enclosure and transducers carry an IP44 rating for indoor or sheltered outdoor use, and built-in InvisiBall mounting hardware (with an available U-bracket) supports flexible aiming.
