Product Overview
The James Loudspeaker QXC10S-PB is a pre-construction bracket for the QXC10S 10-inch in-ceiling subwoofer family. It establishes the rough-in mounting location for the subwoofer in the ceiling during the framing stage, before drywall is installed. This pre-construction bracket is an install accessory for residential and commercial AV projects that need the QXC10S position set early in the build.
Product Description
The QXC10S-PB mounts to ceiling joists or framing during the pre-construction phase to hold and locate the QXC10S subwoofer cutout, letting integrators coordinate placement with the builder before the ceiling is closed. This is standard practice on new-construction and major-renovation AV projects, where rough-in brackets define speaker and subwoofer positions ahead of finish work. It supports both the square QXC10S-S and round QXC10S-R. As a passive mounting accessory it carries no electronics and requires no power.
