It establishes the rough-in mounting location for a flush, trimless QX1010 installation during the framing stage, before drywall is installed. This flush-mount pre-construction bracket is an install accessory for residential and commercial AV projects that require a clean, flush subwoofer finish.
Product Description
The QX1010PBF mounts to wall framing during the pre-construction phase to locate the QX1010 cutout and prepare the opening for a flush-mount, trimless finish, where the subwoofer sits level with the surrounding wall surface. This is used on higher-end AV projects where a minimal, architectural appearance is required and the bracket detail must be coordinated with drywall and finish trades early. As a passive mounting accessory it carries no electronics and requires no power.
