The James Loudspeaker QX1010PB is a pre-construction bracket for the QX1010 forward-firing subwoofer. It establishes the rough-in mounting location for the subwoofer during the framing stage, before drywall is installed. This pre-construction bracket is an install accessory for residential and commercial AV projects that need the QX1010 position set early in the build.
Product Description
The QX1010PB mounts to wall framing during the pre-construction phase to hold and locate the QX1010 subwoofer cutout, letting integrators coordinate placement with the builder before walls are closed. This is standard practice on new-construction and major-renovation AV projects, where rough-in brackets define speaker and subwoofer positions ahead of finish work. As a passive mounting accessory it carries no electronics and requires no power.
