The James Loudspeaker ADD TRANSFORMER 70V 20W for VXQ8 Rectangle is a line transformer accessory for the 8-inch rectangle VXQ quad-tweeter flush-mount loudspeaker. It adapts the passive VXQ88 speaker for 70V constant-voltage distributed-audio systems, enabling multiple speakers on a single line run. It is the standard 70V option for 8-inch rectangle VXQ installations.
Product Description
This 70V 20W transformer converts the passive 8-inch rectangle VXQ88 speaker for constant-voltage operation, allowing it to be tapped onto a 70V distribution line alongside other speakers. It is intended for commercial distributed-audio designs where a single amplifier drives many speakers across a building. Integrators specifying the 8-inch rectangle VXQ88 for paging, background music, or zoned audio add this transformer per speaker.
