Product Overview
The INOGENI SDI2USB3 is a professional 3G-SDI to USB 3.0 video capture card that bridges broadcast-grade SDI camera infrastructure with USB-based soft codec platforms. It accepts 3G-SDI input from professional cameras and broadcast systems, and outputs the video as a standard UVC USB device to any connected laptop or PC — enabling direct use in Zoom, Microsoft Teams, Cisco Webex, Google Meet, and other conferencing applications without driver installation. An active SDI loop output passes the signal downstream to existing broadcast monitoring or recording systems simultaneously. Zoom certified and compatible with Microsoft Teams Rooms via Crestron Automate VX certification, the SDI2USB3 is the correct capture card for organizations integrating SDI camera infrastructure into unified communications workflows.
Product Description
The INOGENI SDI2USB3 SDI to USB 3.0 capture card accepts 3G-SDI signals and supports SD, HD, and HDTV video formats including 1080p, 1080i, 720p, 480p, 576p, NTSC, and PAL at up to 60 fps. All SD and HD resolution signals are converted to 4:2:2 8-bit color space over USB 3.0. Embedded audio in the SDI signal is extracted and output as two-channel LPCM. The active SDI loop output allows the source signal to continue feeding downstream broadcast equipment — monitors, recorders, or video distribution systems — without interrupting the capture path. The device is UVC-compliant and DirectShow compatible, making it immediately usable with conferencing and recording software on Windows, macOS, and Linux without any driver installation. It is powered directly from the USB 3.0 port, requiring no external power supply. Digital Fluid technology internally buffers frames to maximize frame rate stability across varying PC configurations. Hardware-based color space and sampling conversion, automatic scaling, and frame rate conversion are handled on-device. The SDI2USB3 supports multiple devices on the same PC. It carries Zoom certification, is compatible with Barco ClickShare Conference (CX-20, CX-30, CX-50), and Crestron Automate VX has been certified for Microsoft Teams Rooms with this device. TAA-compliant, designed and manufactured in Canada, and backed by a 5-year warranty.
