The R1/R1SUR flex bracket is a new-construction mounting bracket for Sonance R1 and R1SUR in-wall speakers. It is intended for framers and installers who mount speaker brackets to studs before drywall is installed.
Product Description
Built from durable ABS plastic, the R1/R1SUR flex bracket is designed to attach to studs before drywall installation, giving Sonance R1 and R1SUR speakers a fixed reference point for the finished cutout. Snap-on mesh wings accommodate stud spacing up to 24 inches on-center, and the bracket supports both horizontal and vertical mounting orientations depending on the speaker layout. Centering marks are molded into the bracket to help installers keep the eventual cutout aligned during the drywall and finish stages. Because it is compatible exclusively with the R1 and R1SUR, integrators should confirm the exact in-wall speaker model before ordering, since the R2/R2SUR uses its own dedicated bracket.
