The R1C/R1CSUR flex bracket is a new-construction mounting bracket for Sonance in-ceiling Reference speakers. It is intended for framers and installers who attach speaker brackets to joists before drywall is installed.
Product Description
Built from durable ABS plastic, this bracket is designed for new construction and attaches to joists before drywall is installed, giving Sonance R1C and R1CSUR speakers a fixed reference point for the finished ceiling cutout. Snap-on mesh wings support configurations up to 24 inches, and the bracket allows both horizontal and vertical mounting orientations. Centering marks are molded into the bracket to help installers keep the cutout aligned through framing and drywall. It is compatible with Sonance's Reference in-ceiling speaker line, making it a standard stock item for new-construction jobs specifying the R1C or R1CSUR.
