The Hosa HMIC-005 is a 5 ft Hosa Pro Series XLR microphone cable made for short studio and desktop runs where a clean, balanced signal path is the priority. This balanced XLR mic cable uses a REAN XLR microphone cable connector set to link microphones, preamps, and interfaces with low noise. As an XLR3F to XLR3M microphone cable built on 20 AWG OFC microphone cable conductors, the 5 ft length keeps cable management tidy at the desk, the podcast booth, and the rack.
Product Description
The 5 ft HMIC-005 fits near-field positions: a vocal mic into a desktop preamp, a podcast host into an interface, or a short jumper between a mic and a stage box at a lectern. 
It terminates in REAN XLR connectors by Neutrik AG with silver-plated contacts for low-resistance signal transfer. 
The 20 AWG x 2 OFC conductors and 90% OFC braided shield maintain a high signal-to-noise ratio and reliable EMI/RFI rejection in busy rack and console areas. Zinc die-cast housings and chuck-type strain relief give the terminations the durability that integrators expect from a professional microphone cable for live sound and recording.
