Product Description

The BSS AC-V Soundweb Contrio analog wall controller contains a 47k Ohm logarithmic potentiometer that translates physical knob rotation into a proportional voltage signal on a single GPI port of a Soundweb London processor. The logarithmic taper matches human volume perception, providing smooth and predictable level control at the room level. Configuration is handled entirely within HiQnet Audio Architect through drag-and-drop parameter mapping, allowing virtually any gain or level control in the Soundweb London signal flow to be assigned to the AC-V.

Because only one GPI is consumed per controller, up to 12 AC-V units can connect to a single standard Soundweb London device, and up to 36 can connect to a BLU-GPX GPI expander. This makes it straightforward to deploy individual volume controls in multiple zones — conference rooms, classrooms, lobbies, and common areas — all managed by a single Soundweb London processor. The white US Decora single-gang form factor integrates with standard North American wallplate hardware and coordinates with white electrical and low-voltage AV fixtures.

For installations requiring source selection rather than volume control, the companion AC-5S controller provides a five-position resistor-ladder selector with the same GPI-based connectivity. Both the AC-V and AC-5S are available at Creation Networks in black and white US Decora variants.
