The GS305P 5-port Gigabit PoE+ unmanaged switch is built for AV integrators who need reliable Power over Ethernet at the network edge without the complexity of a managed device. Four of its five Gigabit ports support 802.3at PoE+ at up to 30W per port, drawing from a shared 63W budget that is sufficient for a small cluster of access points, cameras, or PoE-powered displays. The remaining port acts as an uplink to the broader network. NETGEAR's PoE power auto-balance technology allocates power based on each connected device's actual needs rather than detected class.
The fanless metal chassis is desktop or wall-mountable and operates at 0 dBA, so it can sit in a meeting room or behind a display without adding acoustic noise. Non-blocking switching architecture provides full 10 Gbps bandwidth across all ports at wire speed, and Energy Efficient Ethernet (IEEE 802.3az) reduces power draw on idle links.
