The NETGEAR GS110EMX is an 8-port Gigabit Plus smart-managed switch with two 10G/Multi-Gig uplink ports for high-bandwidth AV and storage connections. The eight Gigabit ports serve endpoints while the two five-speed uplinks support 100M, 1G, 2.5G, 5G, or 10G over copper. It adds VLAN segmentation, QoS, IGMP snooping, and link aggregation in a fanless metal chassis that mounts on a desk, wall, or 19-inch rack. A 56 Gbps non-blocking fabric keeps high-resolution video and NAS traffic moving without congestion.
Product Description
The GS110EMX 8-port smart-managed switch with dual 10G uplinks is built for AV integrators who need managed control plus multi-gig headroom in one compact unit. Web-based management lets you configure port-based and 802.1Q VLANs to separate AV control, video, and data, while comprehensive QoS, including 802.1p, DSCP, and ingress/egress rate limiting, protects latency-sensitive streams such as audio over IP. IGMP snooping keeps multicast video contained, and static LAG plus LACP link aggregation lets you bond ports for greater uplink bandwidth or redundancy.
The two 10G/Multi-Gig RJ45 ports auto-negotiate five speeds over standard copper cabling, connecting to a 10G NAS, server, or aggregation switch without a fiber run. Housed in a 236 x 102 x 27 mm metal case with included rack-mount and wall-mount kits, the fanless GS110EMX stays silent in conference rooms and integrates cleanly into AV racks.
